1) the stimulus package is far from pork-laden.
2) Our children were, surprise, already going to be “crushed” with debt because of the former presidents intemperate aggression in Iraq. (We too have been “crushed” with debt because the Federal Government runs on borrowed money.)
3) The AIG thing stinks. It’s a horrible mess. But guess what, it’s a horrible mess that regulators allowed to happen. It’s a matter that really should make people look hard at our regulators.

But hey, let’s blame the Democrats for it! Or lets not, and face the fact that all of our politicians are complicit.

You’d have to have a Reagan figure come in a box set with a Maggie Thatcher (with turbo purse-swinging action and Indestructo-Hair!) and a Pope John Paul II. And you could have a Gorby with Kung Fu Grip and an authentic birthmark too, I guess. The possibilities are endless.

The joys of Internet anonymity I guess, folks like posters at SCC can use it to be petty and settle scores. Still, I expect some folks in that particular district are going to be in pretty deep trouble over this happening–some deserved, some not (such is the way of any large bureaucratic organization, the innocent always eat the crap sandwich along with or in place of the guilty).
